
Who I am
This blog site is about my journey through the world of Yoga and Tai Chi. I have been practicing yoga for over 45 years and Tai Chi for about 15 years. I see both similarities and differences but there are more aspects that are similar than different. I see a blending of these art forms that I am attempting to chronicle here.
Yoga and tai chi move energy through the body. Yoga does this through the poses or asanas with the accompanying breath work known as prana. Tai chi moves energy through the practice of forms that are linked in a precise sequence one to the other. It is surely meditation in motion.
Yoga can also be meditation in motion but the precise linking of poses is not always present. Tai chi and Yoga accomplish the same movement of energy yet they are different. But having said that they are also the same in many respects.
Follow me as I move through both of these worlds and discover the meaning in both of these beautiful art forms.
